VB Event - Prosecute the use of Electroshock Gloves by ICE

About

When an enforcement agency spends $20 million on covert electroshock gloves to force compliance through torture, it isn't strength—it is a pathetic admission of cowardice. If federal agents need to secretly shock people to do their jobs, they have no business in our communities. This week, our ***Visibility Brigade*** is taking this message directly to the public to shatter the veneer of normalcy and demand immediate accountability. These electroshock devices look like standard patrol gloves, allowing officers to inflict excruciating pain out of sight without leaving burn marks. They are custom-built to evade cameras and bypass accountability. While Governor Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James have made it clear that federal agents will face state criminal prosecution for using these devices on New Yorkers, our federal representatives—Schumer, Gillibrand, and Meng—have done nothing to block the federal contract. This $20 million contract isn't about safety—it is an outright endorsement of brutality. We cannot sit back while federal agents are armed with pain-inflicting torture tools to use in our communities. We need to raise our voices, demand immediate oversight, and shut this down now.
