Women's Issues Rally

Come join us for a celebration of women and to support women's issues. Recent developments in U.S. women’s rights center on ongoing legal battles over reproductive healthcare, including abortion and forced birth, challenges to federal safety-net and labor protections, affordable childcare, equal pay for equal work, and policy debates involving gender spaces and Title IX, including ongoing attacks on transgender women. There are even right wing challenges to women's right to vote and to access to contraception. The attacks on DEI include setbacks for women of all races. If you are a woman or you are related to a woman or you love a woman, come out to demand full rights for all women. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.* (De-escalation includes, for the safety of all, not allowing oneself to be drawn into shouting matches with drivers passing by.)
