About
*UPDATE 8/24 11:30am* PAUSED — Workers at the Cleveland Public Library have reached a tentative agreement. The strike and rally are paused pending the ratification of this vote. Strike begins at 12 p.m. — Rally at 1 p.m. Union employees at Cleveland Public Library have been working without a contract for eight months. Workers are fighting to preserve union protections, for fair wages that keep pace with inflation, and for improved staffing levels to keep branches running smoothly. Stand in solidarity with SEIU District 1199 members, Cleveland's labor unions, and families who rely on public library services in a show of support for the Cleveland Public Library workers who are set to walk off the job.
