Tarrant County Jail Rally
Tuesday, September 1, 2026, 8:30 AM CDT
Fort Worth, Texas
About
Eighty people have died under Sheriff Wayborne's tenure in Tarrant County. The current GOP commissioners on the court refuse to do anything about it. We will continue to uplift the families of the lost souls and demand accountability for their deaths. We will meet at the water fountain at TCC River Campus, near the corner of N.Lamar and Belknap. Bring signs, wear good walking shoes, and water (it will be hot). We will have a short rally, then walk to the old courthouse for a press conference on voter suppression in Tarrant County. Here are talking points and how to sign up to speak at Commissioners Court: https://bit.ly/TCActionSept1 Metered parking is available downtown as well as several parking garages. You can find parking info here: https://bit.ly/parkFTW
