DIE-IN Date: Thursday, Oct. 8th Time: 12 PM to 1:30 PM Place: St. Rose Hospital 27200 Calaroga Ave, Hayward, CA 94541 Hurry! Space is limited. Please register to attend the Die-In. RSVP Here Join us as we stand, sit or lie down to protest budget cuts that are killing us! The health care cuts will force 3.5 million Californians to lose health insurance over the next five years, close rural hospitals or reduce services at hospitals and clinics unless we pass CA Prop. 40. Bring a yoga mat to lie down in the tombstone cemetery or bring a folding chair to sit down. The DIE IN is organized by a Grassroots coalition of Co-Sponsors: Alameda Labor Council AFL-CIO, California Nurses Association, CARA, Castro Valley Democratic Club, Eden Area Indivisible, Eden United Church of Christ, Grand Lake Vigil, Grey Panthers East Bay, Hayward Area Democratic Club, LTSS4ALL Grassroots Coalition, SEIU-UHW, Starrr King UU Church, Temple Beth Shalom, Teamsters Local #856, Tombstone Lending Library. To get in the spirit, Eden Area Indivisible is hosting a tombstone workshop on Saturday October 3rd from 2 PM to 4 PM at a private residence.
