About
Last week in Danbury, at least 65 families were torn apart by ICE’s abductions. Local businesses are declaring a “DAY WITHOUT AN IMMIGRANT” on Sept 2nd. They will close their doors to show the power of immigrant communities and those who support them in Connecticut. We're asking YOU to stand in solidarity. On Sept 2nd - Don’t go to work. Don’t go to school. Don’t go shopping. Join us at 5pm for a rally and march! March route is being planned. Stay tuned for more info. We cannot tolerate masked agents violently abducting and racially profiling our communities. We cannot stand by while our neighbors are targeted and our community is threatened. That's why we’re coming together with partners and local business on Wednesday to host a DAY WITHOUT AN IMMIGRANT — STRIKE & MARCH on September 2nd We are peaceful, nonviolent, and always work to de-escalate! Safety marshals and volunteers will be onsite. Join us!
