About
## What everyone should know as a protestor: Safety, Risks, Rights. We all need to be prepared for a rapid and mass mobilization response to election threats. This training will help us all understand our rights, be prepared to use them, and understand our risks so that we can plan ahead to help ensure our own safety and the safety of others during these events. This training is recommended for anyone who plan to participate in protests, including possible rapid response events if needed. _Our instructor is a retired firefighter/paramedic who is an experienced protestor. He has been in high risk situations, faced detention by ICE, and has de-escalated protestors, and law enforcement. Come learn from his first hand experience protesting on what to do and what not to do._ There are limited spots for this training, if you will not be able to attend please cancel your RSVP. Please note this class is not intended as legal advice.
