About
Join Team Clyde Jones for Congress as we march in the annual Southwest Alabama AFL-CIO Labor Day Parade in Downtown Mobile! Labor Day is about honoring the contributions of the working class and the labor movement that built our community. This year, we are proud to stand with the hardworking individuals of Southwest Alabama and walk in the annual Labor Day Parade in Downtown Mobile. This is a fantastic opportunity to show strong grassroots support for Clyde Jones, pass out campaign materials, and connect with voters along the parade route. We need an enthusiastic team of volunteers to march alongside our campaign vehicle, carry signs, hand out swag, and bring incredible energy to the streets. Whether you are a union member, a longtime supporter, or a new volunteer looking for a fun way to get involved, we would love to have you on the team. What to expect: Staging & Kickoff: We will meet up before the parade begins to distribute t-shirts, signs, and palm cards. The Route: The parade route loops through Downtown Mobile, starting and ending near the Civic Center. Expect to walk at a leisurely pace for about 1.5 to 2 hours. Community Engagement: Your main role will be walking the route, handing out campaign swag to the crowd, and cheering for Clyde! Sign up today, bring a friend, and let’s show Mobile that our campaign is powered by the people!
