About

Chris Harden firmly believes in standing with the LGBTQ+ community, upholding equal treatment under the law, protecting freedom from discrimination, and ensuring everyone has the fundamental right to live openly and safely as their authentic self. Show your support too and march with us in the 2026 Atlanta Pride Parade! Registration: Space is strictly capped at 100 walkers, so please sign up as soon as possible to secure your spot! Event Details: When: Sunday, October 11 Arrival & Lineup: Walkers must arrive at the assembly spot prior to 10:45 AM; no one will be allowed to enter the assembly area after 11:00 AM. Step-off starts promptly at 12:00 PM. We will be the first wave of the parade. Please plan for approximately 1 hour of walking time, but potentially more, as the 2.2 mile march takes time to complete. Logistics & Travel: Street closures begin at 9:00 AM, so we strongly encourage making travel plans now. Taking MARTA is highly recommended—the Civic Center MARTA station exits directly into the parade assembly area. If you are ridesharing, it is recommended to be dropped off at the corner of Courtland and Ralph McGill (you will be in the correct section), or at Baker St and Peachtree, and then walk two blocks up to Peachtree and Ralph McGill. Our row assignment is Row J - it includes the street section running from the intersection of Ivan Allen and Ralph McGill Blvds to the intersection of Baker Street and Peachtree. Landmark buildings nearby include SunTrust Plaza and Porfirio's. Where & Route: The parade route marches down Peachtree Street and ends at the Charles Allen Gate entrance to Piedmont Park (1320 Monroe Dr NE, Atlanta, GA), where participants will enter the park. You MUST enter the park at the end of the parade. What to Bring: Plan ahead for weather (sunscreen, rain gear, etc.), stay hydrated, and bring snacks for the march. What to Wear & Swag: Gear Up: Deck out in your best Pride gear! You can order official Harden Pride-themed shirts and hats ahead of time at https://www.electharden.com/?anchor=ShowSupport to ensure they arrive before the parade, or wear your own Pride-themed clothing. Campaign Swag: We will provide parade swag for walkers to hand out to crowd members along the route! Come out for an incredible day of high energy, visibility, and community celebration. Lock in your spot today!
