About
Camel's Hump Indivisible is standing up with other Indivisible organizations across the state to say NO to the ICE Surveillance taking place in Williston. Over the months of August and September, **Indivisible groups statewide are showing up at the White Cap business park at 426 Industrial Avenue, Williston** to demonstrate. Home of the National Criminal Analysis Targeting Center, this facility is responsible for pouring over social media accounts and matching names to government databases in order to gather information on immigrants and left leaning organizations. **The NCATC is one of two facilities in the country doing this dirty work.** Information gleaned is sent out to ICE agents across the country allowing them to identify targets for detention and deportation. As we've seen, it doesn't always matter if the information is correct or not, just so long as the quota is met. **We must not allow the continued violence towards, and the disappearance of, our friends and neighbors go unopposed.** Please join Camel's Hump Indivisible on Friday September 18th from 4:00-5:30 at the White Cap Business Park. Bring your signs and enthusiasm and exercise your first amendment right to demand no more ICE Surveillance! We stand in the public right-of-way along Industrial Ave where our right to peaceful assembly is protected by the First Amendment. Caution: there is no sidewalk or curb. Please register so we know to expect you and can reach you with any last-minute changes. Bring an American flag and/or signs that refer specifically to ICE. Please park on Avenue C across from the main entrance to White Cap, or at Rossignol Park just north on Industrial Ave, but DO NOT park in the White Cap lot. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
