About
Join Virginians for Marriage Equality, Equality Virginia Advocates and the Human Rights Campaign in Richmond for our Yes on 2 Day of Action as early voting begins across Virginia! We’re kicking off the first weekend of early voting by knocking doors, talking with voters, and building support for the Marriage Equality Amendment. By voting Yes on Question 2, Virginians can remove the outdated ban on same-sex marriage from our state constitution and ensure that all legally valid marriages are treated equally under the law. No canvassing experience is needed. Each shift will begin with a brief training, and we’ll provide everything you need to have meaningful conversations with voters. New volunteers can be paired with an experienced canvasser whenever possible. Bring comfortable walking shoes, a charged phone, and a water bottle. Sign up for a shift and help us turn out voters to vote early and vote YES on 2!
