About
Join Hawthorne's Resistance Alliance for a peaceful Visibility Brigade as we display a clear and vital message: PROTECT YOUR VOTE. On September 11th, we'll come together in the spirit of patriotism, peace and solidarity to reminder our community that one of the most patriotic things we can do is protect-and participate in-our democracy. Ahead of the midterm elections, we'll raise awareness about early voting and encourage our neighbors to check their registration, make a plan to vote and help others do the same. Participants are encouraged to bring American flags as we stand together in support of every eligible citizen's right to vote and have that vote counted. Following the brigade, we encourage everyone to attend Hawthorne's 9/11 Memorial Service at 6:30pm at the Hawthorne Ambulance Corps on Goffle Road. Join us in honoring our country through peaceful civic action--because democracy is strongest when its citizens show up. Your vote is your voice. Make a plan. Use it. Protect it. Stand up for it.
