About
Here’s the Mobilize version adapted for the **Ban Dan / THC event** while keeping the Powered by People volunteer focus: ### Ready to do the work that actually works? Join Powered by People as we support **Representative Vikki Goodwin’s Ban Dan event** and help turn the energy of this event into voter action! The event will feature **live music by Kam Franklin of The Suffers**, live shirt and poster printing, and community members coming together around the movement to legalize and regulate THC in Texas. Our volunteers will engage attendees, add voters into **REACH**, and follow up with them to help make sure they actually vote. *If this is your first Powered by People event, you must first complete our Zoom [New Volunteer REACH Training] https://mobilize.us/s/BfCqlk.* ### Voter Registrar Requirements * **All volunteers are welcome!** You do not have to be a certified VDR to help with REACH and voter engagement. * If you want to **physically register voters**, you must be a certified Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR) for the county where the event is taking place. * Not certified yet? Sign up for our [VDR Training](https://www.mobilize.us/poweredxpeople/event/908495/).
