Westside Indy Indivisible Resistance Movement and Indy Resistance Indivisible are continuing their monthly presence at Indianapolis International Airport with two connected opportunities to participate on September 18th: the IAA Board Meeting and an airport rally afterward. You can attend the board meeting, the rally, or both! HOOSIERS SEE WHAT’S HAPPENING. WE ARE SHOWING UP TO BEAR WITNESS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🏣IAA BOARD MEETING 8:00–9:00 AM EST | Every 3rd Friday Indianapolis International Airport — Main Terminal, Room 11T.413 7800 Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46241 MEET IN THE MAIN FOOD COURT AT 7:45 AM EST We will head upstairs to the board meeting together. The Indianapolis Airport Authority Board generally meets at 8:00 AM EST on the third Friday of the month. Meetings are open to the public, and remote participation is available by zoom. Meeting dates, times, and agendas are subject to change, so check the current IAA notice. In person attendees must abide by forum rules of nondisruption of the meeting and use of only standard paper size signs or small ones worn on the body. No large signs. https://www.ind.com/about/leadership/board-papers-documentation https://www.ind.com/about/leadership You do not have to attend the board meeting to attend the rally. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 🛬AIRPORT RALLY 🪧9:30am to 11:30am Private International Terminal — Indianapolis Airport 6921 Pierson Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46241 After the board meeting, join us at the Private International Terminal for the rally. 🚙PARKING: Parking at abandoned building in back of rally area 6801 Pierson Dr. which is lot that is further back from the Million Air lot at abandoned building. ✊🏼RALLY AREA: A designated section will be blocked off for the rally by airport security. 👮🏼‍♂️PERMIT & SECURITY: Airport security has been notified and that the rally has an approved permit. 🦺SAFETY: Organizing protocol is nonviolent and prohibits weapons. Participants are asked to avoid engagement with agitators and maintain a solution-oriented focus. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ⁉️WHY WE ARE SHOWING UP: Westside Indy Indivisible Resistance Movement and Indy Resistance Indivisible have been attending IAA board meetings monthly since December 2025. Growing awareness of shackled and trafficked humans in our Indianapolis International Airport, with a lack of transparency, public statements to condemn, and oversight. The groups are using these public meetings and the accompanying rally to draw attention to ICE flights operating through Indianapolis International Airport since July 2025 at same location where sports teams travel from. Mirror Indy reported in October 2025 that ICE detainees boarding an Eastern Air Express charter near Million Air and traveling to Alexandria, Louisiana. The Indianapolis Airport Authority told Mirror Indy that ICE was using the airport's runways three times a week. Now many more airlines, are being used, frequencies & additional destinations to kidnap and traffic our neighbors without access to family, legal support, or due process. Organizers are asking the Indianapolis Airport Authority to address questions and concerns regarding ICE-related flights, participating companies, detainee transportation, and passenger safety. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🙋🏽‍♀️WHAT WE'RE ASKING THE IAA TO ADDRESS: Organizers have raised requests and questions concerning: Public statements from IAA board and public officials condemning flights Installation of cameras or other mechanisms to have Eyes on ICE Gestapo Training and safety procedures involving detainee transportation, i.e. fueling with humans onboard (flight attendant concerns) Safety guidelines for detainee passengers & oversight, i.e., use of shackles The role of airlines & contracts with service providers involved in human trafficking with ICE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💻Learn More: No ICE Flights!
