About
## Join Team Talarico for the Love Thy Neighbor Grocery Drive! 💙 ### Sign up to let us know you're coming to drop off your donation! The Love Thy Neighbor Grocery Drive is bringing Republicans, Democrats, and Independents together across the state to provide much-needed relief to middle- and working-class Texans who could use an extra hand. **Now through September 8**, we will be collecting donations at **Central City Co-Op** in The Heights. We'll be weighing the donations Tuesday evening. 🫶 WANT TO DONATE? You can help by bringing non-perishable groceries (rice, ramen noodles, pretzels, cereal, chips, granola, honey, coffee, fruit bars, protein bars, peanut butter, applesauce, canned beans, canned fruit, shelf-stable milk, tomato sauce, canned tuna or chicken, canned vegetables, trail mix, etc.) to Central City Co-Op. There will be a donation box out front and when that fills up you can leave donations at the back of the building. Can't make it over to Central City? No worries! The Co-Op has graciously offered to match monetary donations with their own donation of fresh, organic food to needy families in Houston. You can make a monetary donation here: https://centralcityco-op.com/products/donations-to-help-our-community Together, we’re showing that while some politicians are looking out for the wealthiest people in the room, we’re looking out for each other. *Please note this is not a rally or traditional campaign event. There is no planned meet and greet, and James Talarico will not be making a speech at any of the grocery donation drop-offs or at the Love Thy Neighbor Volunteer Day. This event is focused on coming together as a community to collect, organize, and distribute groceries to working Texans. By attending this Talarico for Texas event, you acknowledge that you have been informed that you may be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and grant Talarico for Texas permission to use your voice, name, and/or likeness.*
