Power to the People, Not the Few

This a local New Richmond Indivisible Rally ✊ Power to the People, Not the Few ✊ 📍 Park and meet at Marita Park 🗓️ Saturday, September 12 🕛 Noon–1:00 PM Join your neighbors for an hour of peaceful, visible action standing up for democracy and against authoritarianism. This is a sign-waving, flag-flying rally! Please bring your favorite sign, a flag if you wish and don't forget to bring a friend with you!! This is what democracy looks like: ordinary people showing up. Let's fill the corner and make some noise for accountability, checks and balances, and a government that works for all of us — not just the powerful few. We are on the countdown to midterms! See you Saturday! ✊ *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
