About
Nobody understands what our neighborhoods need better than the people living in them. And likewise, students in our communities best understand the student experience. Local school boards have enormous influence over students’ lives, yet they’re among the most overlooked elections—and most students have no say in who represents them. School boards control important issues like: - Equitable and inclusive education - Student civil rights - Student well-being and safety - Funding and resource allocation - Hiring (and firing) superintendents That's why GYJC and AAAF are teaming up to knock on doors in Kennesaw for the Cobb County Board of Education Day of Action! No experience needed—just a willingness to listen, share, and build a stronger community together. This is where change actually starts. When we talk about these issues with our neighbors, we stop facing them alone and start showing up together to transform our community and our state for the better. Come be part of it!
