On Constitution Day we are encouraging our representatives to demand that our elected leaders follow the constitution and restore and protect our democracy. MAGA has eroded our rights and has defunded agencies and institutions it is not authorized to…agencies only Congress can fund and defund. We will sign wave, hand out picket constitutions, and have tables to help get involved in restoring our democracy! 5-6pm 9/17 outside the Beaverton library. We will try to have a reading of parts of the constitution! Bring signs and friends. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
