About
Do you ever wonder what Palantir does? Fear not, you are not alone. Think of them like this: Pretend you're going to a 7-11 because you want a 64oz Big Gulp. No judgement. You're hot and thirsty and that's what you want. So you go in, grab the 64oz cup and fill that sucker to the top. And before you even pay for it, you stick a straw in and start inhaling that wondrously cold and refreshing beverage. Now pretend that instead of it being a 7-11, it's a company called Palantir. And instead of soda water and sugar, what fills that extra large cup is our data. All of it. Social media posts. Location data. Surveillance camera data. Everything. And instead of you inhaling, it's the federal government, because it's the feds that walked in and they were hot and thirsty but not exactly in the same way you were when you were hot and thirsty. That's pretty much what Palantir does. They are the 7-11 of data mining, providing a Big Gulp to whoever forks over the money. They are the brainchild of Terminally Terrifying Billionaire Peter Thiel, who never met an election he didn't want to eliminate. Join The Wolves and The Raging Grannies for an hour in front of privacy and data sucking Palantir. Let's chant so hard Peter Thiel and Palantir CEO Alex Karp can't help but hear us even as they while away the hours in their underground bunkers. And as always, let's keep it hella loud and hella peaceful.
