About
SOS for Health: What Are You Worried About Losing? Public health affects all of us. With changes to public health systems and cuts to Medicaid, it’s more important than ever to speak up about how these changes affect our communities Providers or patients: We want to hear from you. Think about a time when you or someone you love needed health care or help from Panhandle Health District. Maybe Medicaid made care possible. Maybe a healthcare worker or local clinic was there when you needed them. Maybe you’re a healthcare worker worried about your patients. Maybe Panhandle Health District helped your family through an outbreak or connected you with services. Or maybe you needed care and ran into barriers, frustration, or a system that didn’t work for you. What did that experience mean to you? And what are you worried might change? Join Defend Public Health Idaho for this storytelling session at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library’s Gozzer Room on Saturday, September 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Drop in whenever you can. Sit down with one of our volunteers and share your experience. No expertise or perfect words required. Just tell us what happened, why it mattered, and what you’re worried about losing or what you hope could change. We’d really like to hear from you.
