ANTI-LYNCHING PROTEST

we are having a demonstration regarding the hangings of black americans. if you are fed up with the poison of white supremacy, if you think that these hangings are not suicides, we ask you to come out and raise your voices and your signs to bring attention to these cases. not just bring attention, but demand transparency and investigations into these hangings. there have been 22 black individuals found hanging since March 2025, yet there has been very little news coverage on most of these stories. tasia fortune's case was deemed a homicide, trey reed's family is still waiting for answers. our black community deserves better. SIGN IDEAS: -signs with names of the people found hung this year and last -signs demanding justice and investigations -black people don't hang themselves -black people don't hang other people -strange fruit -shame of america/mississippi *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
