Rally & Canvass Kickoff: Jose Lopez Eguino for Imperial Beach City Council, District 1

Imperial Beach, it's go time! Join California Working Families Party, Supervisor Paloma Aguirre, and community leaders to kick off Jose Lopez Eguino's campaign for Imperial Beach City Council, District 1. Jose is a parent and grassroots organizer running to bring working families' voices to City Hall. We'll start with a rally to launch the campaign. Then we'll hit the doors for a morning canvass, talking with District 1 neighbors about what's at stake and why Jose is the right choice. No canvassing experience? No problem. We'll train you on the spot. The biggest election in California WFP history is here. This November, 220 WFP-endorsed candidates are on the ballot, running for everything from school board and city council to the State Legislature, Congress, and statewide office. This kickoff is part of our Road to November series. Across California, WFP members, candidates, labor leaders, and organizers are coming together to talk about what's at stake, who we're fighting for, and how we organize together to win. Races like Imperial Beach City Council are where power gets built, block by block. Come be part of it. 📅 Sunday, September 20, 2026 · 9:30 AM 📍 Teeple Park, 630 Florida St, Imperial Beach, CA 91932 What to bring: comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen, and a charged phone.
