About
# BEWARE OF I.C.E. IN BALCONES HEIGHTS ## Protest against ICE's 287(g) program with Balcones Heights PD. The City of Balcones Heights has signed an agreement (1/7/2026) with ICE that will allow their 30 police officers to stop traffic in their less-than -1 sq-mile jurisdiction and ask the drivers “for their papers”. 80% of the residents in BH are people of color. We ask each of you to call the members of the city council and ask them to rescind their 287g agreement with ICE, an agreement which will may lead to racial profiling and lawsuits which the residents of Balcones Heights will have to pay.
