Operation Overpass Deployment Day: See You At The Ballot Box

It's Deployment Day! Our focus is on Free & Fair Elections. We need at least 7 people to wrangle the banners. Everyone beyond 7 can wave their personal signs. Grab your friends, your sunscreen, your personal signs for the Walton Way Ext. drivers and head to our meet up spot. This month's BABs* are: Voting Is Patriotic All Power To The People G I Rights Hotline *Big Ass Banners We will have medics and de-escalators present to keep everyone safe! What is Op Overpass? Op Overpass began as a 50501 Augusta local organizing idea. It first spread statewide in Georgia and in South Carolina, and has since expanded into a 15-state collaborative effort. We take the overpasses on the same day with the same theme to deploy our banners across the Southeast, Midwest, and West to send a clear message: All Power To The People! 50501 Augusta is a non violent, non partisan, grassroots activist collective formed out of necessity by our neighbors across the CSRA and beyond. We recognize that no one is above the law, that corrupt officials must be held accountable, and that it takes everyone to build healthy communities. This is what democracy looks like!
