About

Help us get ready for October 17 at Corpening Plaza! Join Camel City United Indivisible for a hands-on volunteer training for our No Kings: Vote Early event. We'll continue the volunteer training we began September 5, but you do not need to have attended the earlier training. We'll cover check-in, green dots, welcoming and directing attendees, voter-ready and action stations, neighborhood march arrivals, accessibility, volunteer communication, and how we will keep people moving through Corpening Plaza. We'll also include our required safety and de-escalation training, led by Safety team leaders, so volunteers understand how to recognize problems early, de-escalate situations, communicate with marshals and respond safely. Expect role-playing and hands-on practice. We want you to leave knowing where you fit and what to do on October 17. Choose ONE session — the same training will be offered three times: Wednesday, Sept. 30 | 4:00–5:30 PM Central Library — Dudley Room, 3rd Floor Thursday, Oct. 1 | 6:00–7:30 PM Central Library — Dudley Room, 3rd Floor Saturday, Oct. 3 | 1:30–3:00 PM Reynolda Manor Library — Story Room Whether you're serving as a greeter, tent volunteer, neighborhood team member, marshal, voter assistance volunteer or general event volunteer, this training will help prepare us to operate as one coordinated team on October 17.
