About
This a local Indivisible event! President Donald Trump says he is banning three major news outlets, CNN, MS NOW and Politico, from the White House due to what he called "unfavorable coverage." Trump didn't provide details on how the ban would be implemented, but warned he might bar other media outlets as well. Needless to say, that's unconstitutional. Check out Judy Woodruff and Jamelle Bouie discussing freedom of the press at Monticello on September 21: https://www.pbs.org/.../watch-live-judy-woodruff-and... And that's why you'll find us at 4th & Ellsworth in downtown Albany, every Friday, from 4:00-6:00 pm. Come on down, bring a friend, make new friends! All signs supporting just, fair, and inclusive communities are welcome. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
