Milwaukee Dog Whistle Politics Presser

About

**$10.4 Million and a Dog Whistle** Tom Tiffany's campaign has taken in at least $10.4 million funneled through the state GOP by three billionaires — Richard and Elizabeth Uihlein and Diane Hendricks — none of whom live in the communities they're trying to buy influence over. Some of that same money is now paying for TV ads running heavily in northern Wisconsin, hundreds of miles from Milwaukee, warning voters of "Milwaukee-style chaos and mayhem" if Crowley is elected — fear language aimed at people who'll never see Milwaukee for themselves. We're not waiting around for Tiffany to say something about it. We're demanding he condemn this and cut ties — for good. **Date:** Thursday, September 24 **Time:** 12:00 PM **Location:** WisGOP Community Center, Milwaukee Our ask is simple: Tiffany condemns the racist dog-whistle politics being run in his name, and refuses billionaire money that's buying it. Wisconsin's governor shouldn't be for sale to three out-of-state fortunes, and Wisconsin voters shouldn't be the target of fear-based ads dressed up as "public safety." Joining together for this action: Wisconsin Shows Up, Birds on a Wire, Working Families Power, Power to the Polls, and Chippewa Valley Indivisible. Restoration of America PAC — the Uihlein-funded super PAC bankrolling this attack — is betting that voters far from Milwaukee, with no way to check the ad's claims against what they see day to day, won't push back on coded fear instead of facts.
