About
This a local Southwest Wisconsin Area Progressive Indivisible event! This Saturday, October 3, beginning at 11am, the SWWAP Rally For Democracy will feature key note speaker Mark Pocan. Mark's remarks will highlight the rightwing attack on democracy and how we are the guardrails for democracy, and how must, prevail in November. We'll also have a couple of musical numbers. After the rally we will stand with messaging on well traveled Springdale Street. You are invited to bring signs, drums, and American flags. Most importantly, bring your self and take as stand for democracy and civil liberties. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
