About
Did you hear JD Vance wants another chance? Sounds a little like a desperate ex, doesn’t it? Vance’s taxpayer-funded “Give Us Another Chance Tour”... I mean, Midterm Rally, is coming to Lakeland Airport on October 1, 2026, and we’re not planning to let him roll into town without hearing from the people who live here. He and his allies are asking Floridians for another term. We think they should hear directly from the people affected by their policies. Peacefully, respectfully, and LOUDLY. Join Indivisible Polk and other community groups as we gather to make our voices heard. We can disagree without being dangerous. We can protest without being hateful. And we can make it very clear that we are paying attention. 📍 EXACT PROTEST LOCATION: Will be announced as soon as we know exactly where demonstrators will be able to gather. 📅 October 1, 2026 from about 10 a.m.- 1 p.m 📍 3985 Laird Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33810 ****Follow the directions from your GPS to get into the general area. Park in the event parking. From there, we will be at the crossroads of Wellman Loop Rd and Medulla Rd **** Bring your signs, your friends, your sense of humor, and your civic spirit. Let’s give JD Vance the kind of welcome that reminds politicians who they actually work for: THE PEOPLE. More details coming soon. Share this event and bring somebody with you! Indivisible Polk is committed to peaceful action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
