**Farmers feed us. Diesel bleeds us. Billionaires fleece us. And MAGA Extremists Van Orden and Tiffany voted to keep the war and the tariffs going.** Harvest season is the the most fuel-hungry time of the entire farm year, and **diesel topped $6 a gallon** for the first time ever — and it is still climbing fast. **Wisconsin farmers** are running combines and hauling grain on fuel that costs far more than it did a year ago, while equipment and fertilizer prices climb too. The **truckers** who bring us that food, and nearly everything else we buy, are paying more to move every load. That's why the whole cart costs more. **It's not just farmers who are hurting. It's everyone who eats, drives, builds, or shops.** Here's where the votes come in. Farmers and truckers didn't choose a war or a trade fight. They're just the ones getting the bill. **Who:** Wisconsin farmers, bankers, and community members **When:** Monday, October 5 at 11:00 a.m. **Where:** 4398 Deerfield Rd, Eau Claire 54701 **Bring:** A sign if you've got one, and we'll have extras. Four price hikes on our concrete jobs. 🛒 Their votes. Our bill. Chippewa Valley Indivisible is joined by coalition partners including SEIU, Wisconsin Working Families Party, Power to the Polls, and others who are standing with Wisconsin farmers and working families squeezed by rising costs. Participants are invited to bring a sign about farmers, diesel, and the votes behind this crisis, or use one provided on site. **Together, we'll make sure the people who feed us are seen, heard, and impossible to ignore.**
