Saturday Sign-waving in Nora - E 86th: No Kings - Get Out The Vote EARLY!

Saturday, October 3, 2026, 11:30 AM EDT
In Nora East of Westfield Blvd and Fire Station 6, Indianapolis, Indiana

About

N.B. We had to move our site 3 blks East because of Construction on 86th @ Monon. We will rally on 86th St East of Westfield Blvd. Park in North Central lot East of Fire Station 6 at Traffic Light for NCHS Or on side streets El Rico & Cholla. We will fan out from there on the sidewalks in front of NCHS to Westfield Corners. Our Event is the No Kings Event for Nora. Signs this month of October should focus on VOTING (Oct 6 - Nov 3 @ CityCounty Bldg), and especially EARLY VOTING (Oct 24 - Nov 1 @ St Luke's (for WashTwsp)) [If not from Wash, use your Early Voting site.) Come when you can, stay as long as you can! Come for Breakfast or Stay for Lunch Bring a Sign! Bring a Friend! Dress for the Weather! Bring Your Water. We will be urging Hoosiers to VOTE EARLY in the relative Peace of Early Voting when there is less chance of Trump shenanigans. Plus, Votes Cast cannot be challenged or blocked nearly as easily Indiana's County Democratic Party Clubs is still in need of Canvassing volunteers and Precinct captains to help Get Out the Vote. IF we can get just 104 additional Voters out to the Polls per Precinct (and they are there to be gotten out), we can break the MAGA Lock on Indiana!! But, these Voters obviously need Motivation!! SO, if you have even a few hours of free Time - evenings or weekends, please contact Washington Township Canvassing Captain, Megan Alderman via email: [email removed] And, if you are from outside of Washington Twnshp, I am sure she knows or can find your Twnshp Captain.
