Daily from 12:15-12:30pm US Capitol East Front Plaza RAIN OR SHINE, GRAB AN UMBRELLA AND BE SEEN. When you arrive at the East Front Plaza of the U.S. Capitol, simply walk around and take in the scene. Do not gather in a static group, sit down, or set your umbrella on the ground; keep moving naturally along the wide public plaza perimeter maintaining a respectful physical buffer from other participants. You are free to carry any umbrella, whether plain or bearing a message. Remain silent and avoid speeches, chanting, or loud noise. Circulate the Front East Plaza perimeter at your own pace until about 12:30pm, then simply turn and disperse as an individual, leaving the grounds just as quietly and seamlessly as you arrived. Don't worry if only a few people show up, after all you are just out for a stroll. Keep coming back!
