ICE Out For Good Palm Springs CA

Renee Good and Alex Pretti were both 37‑year‑old Minnesota residents whose fatal shootings by federal immigration officers in January 2026 sparked nationwide protests, legal battles, and calls for accountability. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) killings are part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities. We Palm Springs community members demand accountability and will gather to wave signs on East Palm Canyon Drive at Cherokee Way (near Parker Hotel and Mercedes-Benz dealership) to make visible the human cost of ICE’s actions. Because this is No Kings: Vote Early day, we also welcome non-partisan signs encouraging people to vote. The organizers are regular participants in Sunday morning sign-waving events that take place in Palm Springs and Palm Desert. Come join this one-hour event, which takes place before the big No Kings: Vote Early events and before the mini-Modernism Week events happening on this same day. Bring your own signs, or borrow from our selection of signs. A core principle behind all ICE Out For Good events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events, bringing no weapons of any kind and located on public land.
