About

Turn people power into voter power—together! Join us for a postcard party to create colorful, fun messages encouraging Texas voters to make their voices heard. It’s a meaningful, hands-on way to support Get Out the Vote (GOTV) while sharing drinks, snacks, creativity, and great conversation with people who care about our community. We’ll provide postcards, pens, and all the supplies. Stamps are welcome but completely optional—just bring your enthusiasm! During the event, we’ll also help everyone make a personal voting plan and share easy, practical ways to strengthen GOTV efforts in the days ahead. Whether you’re a longtime organizer or simply looking for a positive way to get involved, you’ll leave feeling energized, connected, and part of something bigger. The gathering is just about 15 minutes from Houston City Hall—making it the perfect stop before heading downtown for the No Kings Rally. Come make postcards, meet fellow concerned citizens, and help turn community energy into real voter power. 2 hour free parking in garage behind the Black Walnut “No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.”
