No Kings: Party and Vote Early in Gaston County

Come to our Party Near the Polls and March to Vote Early at the Gaston Board of Elections! Indivisible Gaston and NAACP Gastonia Branch #5394-B are inviting everyone to join us for music, free food, and a get out the vote pep rally. Every half hour or so, we’ll lead a group of voters to the polling place about three blocks away. Our goal is to break the county’s single day record for early voting! October 17 No Kings Day turns people power into voter power! ***We decide who represents us.*** For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law. Vote early with us to say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. *No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.* This event is conducted in partnership with NAACP Gastonia Branch 5394-B. *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
