Carrollton AREA Democrats - No Kings "VOTE EARLY" POP-UP

Carrollton AREA Democrats has organized a POP-UP No Kings VOTE EARLY EVENT at our favorite BLUE TRAIL corner (SE corner of Peters Colony & Josey ) on Saturday, October 17th as part of the No Kings initiative. Giving you coordinates of the parking lot to use. Then walk west to Josey Lane to participate in holding up signs along Josey Lane. Please park at the parking lot at the corner of Paxton and Peter's Colony and then walk the BLUE TRAIL to Josey Lane. Folks with signs can then join others on Josey Lane to encourage others to VOTE EARLY. Messaging will be about WHY WE ARE VOTING. Carrollton Democrats have been holding a Pop-Up every weekend from 10-noon to hand out water and voting info to folks along the Blue Trail, to take selfies with cardboard James Talarico - and offer James Talarico & Gina Hinojosa signs for fundraising - and distribute an assortment of other candidate signs and literature. An additional Pop-Up of folks WITH SIGNS from noon until 2pm will encourage Carrollton citizens to come out and VOTE EARLY. Participants may bring their own signs and flags. Please make the messaging about why we need to vote - and we need to Vote Early as part of the No Kings messaging on this date. We will have large ALPHABET LETTERs from earlier BRIDGE BRIGADE for folks to hold if they do not have signs spelling out VOTE EARLY. There has been so much food insecurity thanks to "you know who" - their food panty has been hit hard by families. They do not ask a lot of questions - just help out families who are hungry. If you can share some food items (everything is welcome) or some 💸💲 donations - you will help others in our community. Please be courteous of folks who live on Paxton street in case we need to park on their street as well.
