About

Even in a highly competitive election, our democracy is bigger than any one race or political party. This press conference will bring together nonpartisan organizations and community partners across the Hudson Valley to send a clear message: we are united in ensuring every eligible voter has the information, resources, and support they need to make their voice heard. Our goal is to demonstrate community solidarity by educating voters about their rights and voting options, activating residents to participate in early voting, and ensuring voters know where to turn if they encounter problems at the polls. As Election Day approaches, we want the public to know that trained, nonpartisan volunteers and organizations will be on the ground, working together to promote safe, fair, and accessible elections. We will also highlight the importance of voter assistance hotlines, including 866-OUR-VOTE, which voters can contact if they have questions, experience barriers to voting, or need help during early voting and Election Day. The message is simple: no matter how competitive the race becomes, protecting the freedom to vote is a shared responsibility. The Hudson Valley is showing up—not to tell people who to vote for, but to ensure they can cast their ballots with confidence and have their voices heard.
