Walkout at 2:00 to join us at Memphis City Hall at 3:00pm on October 20 to demand an AI FREEZE and the passing of an DATACENTER MORATORIUM. We’ll gather with fellow students, professors, community members, and allies, with 3-4 speakers sharing their testimony about how unregulated AI has impacted our lives, jobs, communities, and futures – and we’ll call for an immediate freeze on AI development now. Because we the people deserve a say, a clean air & water, and basic safety, and we need to determine the future of this dangerous, powerful technology – not leave it to a handful of Big Tech CEOs. Bring your signs (printer paper size), clear bags, and your friends!
