About

☆☆GET OUT THE VOTE! Join us at the intersection of Meridian St and Clarence B Sharp Highway (Rt 349) every Friday from now until election day to promote our elections and protect our democracy. We will be there from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. We are facing huge threats to both our elections and our democracy, as this administration does everything in its power to subvert our elections so they can hold onto power. We need massive, early turnout that cannot be dismissed. And we must elect pro-democracy candidates who will begin to address the corruption, the war, the unlawful tariffs, the out-of-control ICE, the high cost of everything and more that is destroying our country. Come help us make sure everyone knows what's at stake in this election by holding signs and banners facing Clarence B Sharp Highway during rush hour. Please bring signs that remind voters, especially unaffiliated voters, of what’s at stake as they head to the polls – affordability, the war, ICE, and how much we are all paying for this administration’s corruption. We will also have extra signs if you don't have one. The intersection of Meridian St and Clarence B. Sharp Highway is here - https://maps.app.goo.gl/zp2zT5wgx9cXbFtp7 Parking is a short walk away available at the City of Groton Municipal Building at 295 Meridian Street, Groton or in Washington Park, next to the municipal building. For questions or more information, email [email removed]. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
