About

Hello PS-ers! We are joining No Kings 4 in a BIG WAY this October and turning our people power into direct VOTER power! Our goal is to show up **Everywhere in Schenectady County** to be a visible reminder that We Have the Power to shape our future. NK4 is about making sure every eligible Schenectady County voter has a plan to VOTE EARLY (starting October 24th). Voting early gives eligible voters more opportunities to participate and make their voices heard! We will share information and ways to get involved with protecting our vote and making sure every ballot is safely counted. From **1pm - 2pm on Saturday, October 17th** we will gather at multiple locations around Schenectady County. Each location will have a PS Captain and several pre-made signs urging folks to Vote Early (starting October 24th) and sharing info on polling locations and times. **THIS LOCATION: SCHENECTADY, KAREN B JOHNSON LIBRARY** RSVP to receive ongoing updates and parking information. NK4 is a non-partisan event! We will not be referencing specific political parties or candidates in our official messaging. Stay tuned for sign-making events and if you are interested in becoming a Captain for one of our NK4 locations, please reach out: [email removed] *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
