About
In the Greater East Hampton Community volunteers will be tabling and handing out fliers on Saturday, October 17th, to encourage and assist citizens to get to their Early Voting locations and VOTE EARLY! This National Day of Action, NoKings4, is just that--a specific call to action. We are fanning out to as many locations as possible to help our community to come out in force to VOTE! We have handouts with early voting polling locations and times. Early Voting starts in NY on October 24! Any citizen who is not registered to vote may register before October 24, and we can provide the online links to do so. We encourage you to check your registration status at Vote.org. Want to volunteer? Email Peoplefordemocracyeh.org and let us know. **We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.** On October 17th, join us in local events across the country as we get out the early vote and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. *No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.* *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
