Join Food & Water Action for a rally and canvass launch to get people to the polls on the first day of Early Voting in NY-17. NY-17 is one of the most watched congressional districts in the country. The seat is currently held by MAGA Mike Lawler, who has voted with Trump 100% of the time – cutting healthcare, food assistance, and clean water funding, and enabling handouts to the fossil fuel industry. He has also voted to fast-track the financing, permitting, and construction of new hyper-scale AI data centers across the country. Join us to rally against data centers in New York and call for a halt to new data center development! Then we'll head out to knock on doors to kick Lawler out of Congress and elect Cait Conley, the only candidate to call for restrictions on data centers. No prior canvassing experience is necessary. After the rally, we'll have lunch and then train you before we go canvass.
