About
**SELECTED AS "BEST OF BALTIMORE 2026" by Baltimore Magazine** Follow us on [Substack](https://prodemocracydancepartyatpenn.substack.com/) and on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/prodemocracydanceparties)! At the pro-democracy dance party at Baltimore Penn Station, we dance to celebrate our freedoms--to love, speak our minds, and move our bodies. We dance for democracy, the disappeared, for peace, for truth, and for each other! The pro-democracy dance party creates a visual spectacle that draws the curious attention of many passersby, with whom we share literature about the pro-democracy movement. Many can't help but join in! Bring your pro-democracy sign, your friends and your dancing shoes and defy the authoritarians with JOY! Sponsored by Allies for Democracy and the Golden Dance Experiment and featuring DJs [Gonzostein](https://www.instagram.com/gonzostein/), [Tew Slim](https://www.instagram.com/baldamoretewslim/) and guest DJ [Wayne Davis](https://www.instagram.com/waynedavis_baltimore/) * Fourth Fridays in case of inclement weather
