Join Food & Water Watch, Green Co-op Council, and Climate Families for an rally to urge Governor Hochul to say YES to renewable energy and sign the SUNNY Act into law! Earlier this year, the Legislature passed the Solar Up Now New York (SUNNY) Act (A.9111C/S.8512C). It's now on Hochul's desk — and we need her make it law! The SUNNY Act will remove regulatory red tape for small, "plug-in" solar panels, so that New Yorkers — especially renters or families living in apartments — can take advantage of clean energy technology that will help lower energy bills and fight climate change. The SUNNY Act shows the way forward: affordable, accessible solar is key to lowering bills and fighting climate change. Let's make sure Hochul signs it into law.
