About
This Día de los Muertos, join us to honor and remember the lives taken by ICE and Border Patrol — and to demand an end to the violence. We'll gather and grieve publicly for the people who have died in ICE custody and been killed by ICE and Border Patrol agents, drawing on the Día de los Muertos tradition of honoring loved ones. This action is part of End the ICE Age, a national day of action happening in cities across the country October 31–November 2. We will march from the EUG sign at the Hult Center to the Old Federal Building where we will hold a memorial and learn about how we the people can defend our communities in a time when our institutions refuse to. A core principle behind all Disappeared In America events is a commitment to nonviolent action. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
