About
(SOS) Save Our Social Security, (a working group of Indivisible/Progressive MA, Cambridge) is resuming our standouts this Thursday, October 22, with signs protesting back-door attacks on Social Security and outright cuts to our other safety net programs like SNAP and Medicaid, thanks to the Big Ugly Bill. This week's standout will take place this Thursday, October 22, from 4:30 - 5:30 pm at the big sign at the entrance to the Fresh Pond Shopping Mall parking lot (which includes Whole Foods Market and TJ Maxx). We have lots of signs available for you to hold related to the theme of Social Security and safety net programs. Parking is available in the lot, and the Alewife T stop is nearby.
