Jane Doe's Witches Vote - Early Voting March to the Ballot Box

RENO! Put on your costumes, get your snazzy marching boots on, and join us as we #StandWithJaneDoe by marching to the ballot box to VOTE EARLY on Halloween. We will start at the Thompson Federal Courthouse with a rally, march north on the public sidewalk along Virginia St and around City Plaza, and end at the Downtown Reno Public Library, where you can cast your vote. **Remember to BRING YOUR BALLOTS and vote YES on Question 6 to solidify women's right to abortion in Nevada's Constitution.** October 30th is the last day of early voting!! We are empowering the people of Reno to vote in the midterms like our rights and humanity depend on it, while also protesting sexual assault and the poor laws governing violence against marginalized people. And by people, we mean all people. Cis or trans, women and men, People of Color, veterans and the disabled, ALL are welcome because all are impacted by rape and sexual assault. Enough is enough! It's time to vote out the pedophile protectors and remind elected leaders that they represent US, the people! **Where:** Bruce R. Thompson Federal Courthouse 400 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89501 **When:** Friday, October 30th, 10:30am. March in solidarity with Jane Doe and be fabulous while doing good work! **What We Want:** - Politicians, regardless of party affiliation, to openly denounce rape, pedophilia, and all forms of sexual violence, and to outline how they plan to address sexual assault and domestic violence, including expanded criminal penalties for offenders and victims’ services. - Transparency of all laws and the decriminalization of laws excusing sexual assault due to intoxication, with clear definitions outlining that consent can only be given by a person of legal age (18) who is not inebriated or possessing diminished reasoning capabilities. - Reclassification of jail and prison sentences to be on par with murder, or the loss of limbs, deprivation of freedom, or normalcy of living. - Possession of AI generated pedophilia and non-electronically generated pedophilia to be criminally codified the same as rape. - Drugging and victimizing a person reclassified to be on par with attempted murder. - Expanded financial reparations for victims and survivors by the offender or offender’s family (if the offender is deceased). - Expanded Statute of Limitations to be open-ended due to the nature of sexual assault and rape, and in consideration of mental health factors such as PTSD and social stigma. - Criminal Negligence charges against the heads of educational facilities, police, judges, district attorneys, or anyone who fails to treat sexual assault like the serious and devastating event it is. - The Epstein files released, unredacted, and any politicians with any form of sexual assault or pedophilia investigations against them barred from public office, permanently.
