About
The price of gas in Pennsylvania has gone up 43 percent since President Donald Trump invaded Iran in February 2026. As of this week, Lackawanna County residents are paying an average of $4.44 a gallon compared to just $3.07 in February. Rep. Rob Bresnahan has said that the war in Iran needs to “come to a resolution expeditiously,” but his actions speak otherwise. He voted no on six War Powers Resolution votes to remove U.S. Armed Forces from unauthorized hostilities with Iran and for a budget resolution that includes $73 billion for the Iran War. Join Scranton residents, Action Together NEPA members, local leaders, and experts as we demand accountability from Rep. Bresnahan’s role in driving our gas prices up!
