About
This year, ICE has been responsible for more deaths than in any year in its history. This Día de los Muertos, join us for a local Day of Action to honor those we’ve lost and demand an end to the ICE age. We are opening our home for a community vigil and action gathering. The event will span two spaces: The Ground Floor Hub (Fully ADA Accessible): Join us in the open garage and driveway to contribute to a community ofrenda. Bring photos or offerings for those impacted by ICE. We will have action stations, art-making, and refreshments available for all. The Roof Deck Vigil: For those able to navigate two flights of stairs, we will host a sunset vigil on the roof overlooking San Francisco. Against the backdrop of our city's skyline, we will hold a space to reflect on the stark contrast between our city's reputation as a liberal sanctuary and the reality of ongoing surveillance and ICE presence within our borders. Whether you come to light a candle, sign a petition, or simply stand in solidarity, your presence matters. We will not stand by as families are disappeared, rights are dismantled, and democracy itself is eroded. Accessibility & Logistics Note: The main altar, community space, and action stations are located on the ground level in the open garage and driveway, which are fully accessible. Please note that restrooms will not be available at this event, so please plan accordingly. The roof deck vigil requires climbing two flights of stairs; however, we will be broadcasting the roof's view down to the ground floor so everyone can share in the moment of reflection together.
