One night before Halloween, Brunswick Area Indivisible will have a fashion/art show at the Brunswick United Methodist Church! This will be a fun event where protesters can show off their cosplay protest costumes by walking as fashion models on the runway to music! The theme is “The Blue Wave”, and we’re encouraging everyone to vote in the midterm elections! Fashion models can dress in protest costumes, in blue-wave-inspired fashion, or show their pride or halloween spirit. You can sign up at cgmills.com/fashion to be a fashion model in the show, or have your protest sign displayed onstage! You don't have to be in the show to join the fun. Audience members can walk the red carpet and dress up like the Oscars, wear costumes, or go casual! Join in protest chants over rave-style music. Let's have a Blue Wave dance party! Admission is free, donations welcome! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
